Reporting Requirements Developer (Job Number:434206) Description: Job Description SAIC is seeking a Reporting Requirements Developer to join our team supporting a major state & local government customer. The Reporting Requirements Developer reports to the Chief Operations Manager, and is responsible for the analysis, development, and unit testing of reports, dashboards / visualizations using the ServiceNow reporting platform. The ideal candidate must also serve as a backup to all position responsibilities for the Report Developer using legacy reporting technology and implement reporting capabilities throughout the enterprise for a large infrastructure support program. Essential duties of this position include: - Demonstrated proficiency extracting data from and analyzing data in Oracle relational database - Advanced troubleshooting - Data analysis and report design - Highly proficient in SQL (writing & tuning complex queries) - Working knowledge of VMWare, ServiceNow and ITSM. The Reporting Requirements Developer performs a critical role responsible for designing the reporting requirements in development and execution of the solution in production. You will have the opportunity to solve complex problems, design user-friendly interfaces, and optimize processes through automation. This position offers the chance to improve the speed, efficiency, and reporting capability of IT services. The Reporting Requirements Developer will also play a key role in representing current and future capabilities of supporting ITSM tools, and contributing to long-term strategy as well as tactical activities leading to the continual improvement of the environment to meet objectives. Qualifications: Qualifications Background / Experience - Experience with direct and indirect resources including supervision of direct technical support staff - Excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of working independently and in small groups - Ability to lead / assist with formulation and definition of solution scope and objectives while working with a team of reporting developers / analysts on functional requirements and specifications. - Serves as a subject matter expert for automation, orchestration and development of reporting requirements - Strong organizational and communication skills - Strong ability to work in fast-paced environments - Knowledge in web technologies such as Java, SQL and BI - Preferred to have ServiceNow knowledge - With limited direction, supports the implementation of reporting systems into production. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
