Role Overview

As part of multi-year transformation initiatives, we are looking for someone who is excited and motivated to learn new technologies and enjoys exploring creative ideas for problem resolution.? The ideal associate would be able to learn new technology practices, platforms, and tools (PEGA) quickly, willing to try new and unfamiliar ways to achieve business goals, collaborate and communicate across multiple Business/IT channels, and have the capability to be flexible with daily changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


  • Serve as Application Developer supporting Long Term Care Claims technology Operations team by designing, developing, supporting scalable workflow applications used in LTC Claims Operations

  • Develop software utilizing PEGA Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for both Business Process Management and Business Process Rules Development initiatives

  • Performing ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement

  • Maintain peer relationship with cross functional technology, solutions and users of application

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Testers and business users to effectively prioritize development activities within resource constrains

Basic Qualifications

  • BS in computer science or equivalent certifications and experience

  • Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles

  • Must be able to quickly absorb, understand and resolve complicated technical issues

  • Must have the ability and experience in developing innovative approaches and solutions to solving design, architectural, and technical issues

  • Intellectually Curious with a Continuous Process improvement mentality

  • Experience in object-oriented programming languages specifically using either .NET or Java and relational database technologies like SQL Server or Oracle or equivalent academic experience; corporate internship a plus

  • Exposure to web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of BPM and SOA

  • Experience in SDLC and Agile Project Methodologies

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
