Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS is searching for a Technician in Richmond, Virginia.
Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

  • Follow written standard operating procedures

  • Maintain sample inventories, weigh samples, wash glassware, and perform basic laboratory procedures such as sample grinding, pH, etc.

  • Extract and prepare samples for instrumental analysis

  • Conduct instrumental analyses according to written procedures, which may include LC, GC, IC, LC-MS and/or GC-MS

The ideal candidate would possess

  • 3-5 years experience in a chemistry laboratory using LC, GC, IC, LC-MS and/or GC-MS

  • Experience working within an established quality system (e.g. ISO 17025, GMP)

  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related field OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with minimum 3 years relevant experience

  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. or 2p.m.-11p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Richmond, Virginia are encouraged to apply.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
