Forecast Analyst

Great opportunity with an industry leader! We're looking for a Forecast Analyst to join our team! This role will effectively drive supply chain activities related to acquiring demand signals and achieving replenishment optimization for their assigned customer.
The Forecast Analyst will be located onsite at the customer s corporate office in Richmond, Virginia.
As the supply chain representative for James Hardie, the candidate will frequently interact with individuals at all levels of the customer s organization.
This will require strong communication and influencing skills.
Related experience, sound judgement, relationship building, and supply chain knowledge is necessary to be successful in this role.

Position Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Understand current replenishment processes used by the customer and align on optimization opportunities and timelines.
  • Develop new tools and routines which will enable the creation of a customer level demand forecast.

Demand Forecasting

  • Lead the weekly/monthly customer level forecast generation process.
  • Compile and analyze historical data considering seasonal trends, builder activity, and customer behavior.
  • Develop an item level forecast using basic statistical tools, builder signals, customer insights, and marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinate and synchronize new product introductions with customers and James Hardie product teams.
  • Communicate forecast confidence, including risks and opportunities, to relevant functional groups within both organizations.
  • Develop, monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy while driving continuous improvement.
  • Proactively manage customer master data for use by James Hardie teams.

Replenishment

  • Lead replenishment optimization activities once goals are agreed upon.
  • Maintain and execute replenishment models, as needed, to achieve order fulfillment goals.
  • Develop, monitor and communicate reports on customer fulfillment rates.
  • Identify root cause of customer order fulfillment errors and collaborate on resolution.
  • Support James Hardie efforts to enhance internal on time delivery metrics.

Position Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain or business-related field.
  • 2-3 years relevant forecasting experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of analytical or planning experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer facing experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite and intermediate in Excel.
  • Experience with SAP, IBP, APO, and Business Objects a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
